Our budget accommodation is suitable for groups, couples, families, or backpackers and is within walking distance to the Ohakune town centre, shops, restaurants and ski hire. We are close to Turoa skifield and a short drive to Whakapapa Skifield, North Island, NZ.

This summer we now have powered sites for campervans with awesome mountain views plus we have covered parking for small "escape" type camper vans, ideal for those rainy days.

Ohakune is a great base for walking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and for your Whanganui River canoe adventures. Transport for the walking tracks of the Tongariro World Heritage National Park is easily arranged with pick up and drop offs from Ohakune. 

Mountain biking is becoming very popular with the completion of the Ohakune Old Coach Road and the Mountains to the Sea cycleway. We can provide mountain bike hire and transport and have a great bikehire/accom package available . Please enquire.
